Julian Jackson is a lifelong resident, public health professional, and community advocate dedicated to transparency and the residents of Santa Fe Springs.

About Julian

Julian Jackson is a first-generation college graduate and a lifelong member of the Santa Fe Springs community. He is a product of the Little Lake City School District and from a young age, has always believed in giving back to the city that raised him. He began volunteering at community events and programs, including Santa’s Sleigh, the T.E.E.N.S. Program, community garden cleanups, and the city’s Haunted House. As he grew older and continued serving his community, his appreciation and passion for Santa Fe Springs only grew stronger. That passion ultimately led him to pursue an opportunity with the City of Santa Fe Springs, where he worked with the Community Services and Parks and Recreation Department.

Today, Julian remains deeply committed to the safety, health, and well-being of his community. He is a strong advocate for educators and believes that those who dedicate their lives to educating and supporting our youth deserve to have their voices heard. Julian is also an advocate for responsible development and stands against data centers when they threaten the health, quality of life, and environment of Santa Fe Springs residents. He believes our city can grow while still putting the well-being of its residents and environment first.

Julian is running for Santa Fe Springs City Council because he believes our community deserves a compassionate representative who is proactive about the needs of residents and transparent with the people they serve. Santa Fe Springs helped shape who Julian is today, and he carries that responsibility with him. As a council-member, he will make decisions with the community at the forefront, listening to residents, addressing concerns before they become crises, and ensuring that the voices of Santa Fe Springs families are represented in City Hall.

Professionally, Julian has dedicated his career to public service, working at various levels of government. His experience includes serving with the City of Santa Fe Springs and, most recently, working in public health with Vector Control. In partnership with the Department of Public Health and in cooperation with local cities, Julian works to help prevent the spread of vector-borne diseases and protect the health and safety of communities across the region. He earned his Master’s Degree in Public Administration from California State University, Long Beach, and his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, with a minor in Pan-African Studies, from California State University, Los Angeles.
